What is the need of Motorcycle Jeans or Pants?

Why You REALLY NEED MOTORCYCLE Jeans or PANTS?

Anybody can meet with an accident anywhere and while ridding on road chances are high. That's the reason when we ride, we should be covering our entire bodies. Not just our head and hands.  All too often, people forget about the lower half. Why is one part of our body less important than another? I don't know the answer to that question, because I value every inch of mine. Your hips, knees and feet are all impact points. Wearing a pant can offer your protection at your hips and knees.

I have put together detailed explanations of everything that you should know before buying a motorcycle jeans and pant. Read this before you make your next investment!

Anything calling itself a motorcycle pant should have some sort of abrasion resistant material or construction in areas that typically make contact with the ground (i.e. the butt, hips, and knees), and most pants will have some kind of padding or armor as well.Motorcycle jeans and pants in general are built with sturdier materials than casual wear (such as durable textiles and leather), and in particular, should have stronger construction to prevent separation of seams in a slide. Pants built for specific purposes, like dual-sport riding or touring, will often be made with materials and features for varying weather conditions as well, such as Gore-Tex lining or zippered vents, in addition to being crash worthy.

Fit

They should be a little bit long in standing position so that they aren't too short when you're sitting on the bike. If you ride a sport-bike, touring pants will be uncomfortable. If you're on a dual sport/upright bike, track pants will be uncomfortable. Make sure you sit on that bike and double-check how comfortable it is in riding position.

When you sit on the bike, your knee armor should sit right over you knee caps, with a couple inches above the knee. Your armor shouldn't move and when you walk, the leg shouldn't be so wide that your armor is able to move side to side either.

 MOTORCYCLE  JEANS / PANTS PURPOSE
Beyond the protection from road rash that any motorcycle pants should have, there is a wide variety of different pant styles available depending on where and how you’ll be riding. Let’s go over a few, how they differ, and the features that go into each type.
